About Grand Funk Railroad

Fueled by a devoted fan base built by constant touring, Grand Funk Railroad became the quintessential American blues-rock power trio in the 1970s. From 1969 to 1972, five of their eight releases went platinum and their Closer to Home album went multi-platinum. A string of hits followed and the band ended up working with some A-list producers, including Todd Rundgren and Frank Zappa.

Grand Funk Railroad has shared the stage with Led Zeppelin, sold out Madison Square Garden and the Royal Albert Hall and sold over 25 million records worldwide! More than 50 years later, they’re still going strong with their “Some Kind of Wonderful” Tour 2020 and the fantastic live show that made them stars!

Look for Grand Funk Railroad to perform classics like “We’re an American Band,” “Some Kind of Wonderful,” “Footstompin’ Music,” “I’m Your Captain (Closer to Home),” “The Loco-Motion,” “Walk Like a Man” and “Are You Ready?”
